Tim is married to Stacy Whitmire and they have four children, three teenage boys who are 18, 16, and 14 and a princess who is 6 years old. He has lived in the southern part of the St. Louis area his whole life. He went to Mehlville High School and he currently lives in Columbia, IL. He’s a fan of all St. Louis sports teams and his hobbies include playing roller hockey and hiking/mountain climbing. Tim and his brothers try to climb one big mountain a year.

He has been originating since 2001 when his mom, with her underwriting background, opened her own mortgage company. They were a small mortgage broker shop.  He was a loan officer from the start, but his training came from an underwriter’s perspective, with a heavy focus on the operational side of originating mortgages. He worked the loans from the beginning of the process to the end, he would originate the loan, order the verifications, do the processing, and perform the closing and post-closing functions. The only thing he didn’t do was underwrite the loan, which he would tee up for my mom to sign off on. This experience and operational knowledge helps Tim have a deeper understanding of the full mortgage process and better prepare our buyers.

In 2012, with all the regulation changes, they chose to join First Integrity Mortgage. At First Integrity Tim had a team and focused on originations, which allowed him to develop additional sales skills and increase the volume of business he was originating. Beyond originating mortgages, he was a mentor to new loan officers, he lead the strategic change committee and worked with management on special projects.

With getting to know Steve and Nations Lending’s leadership team and with learning about their processes, available loan programs, and the technology & tools they utilize, Tim is excited to join the team!
